• The bolts included in the cabinet will only work with Janome or Kenmore sewing machines. If you own another brand you will need to get mounting bolts from your local dealer or manufacture of your sewing machine.

• Universal Insert will fit most machines. It is a piece of plastic that fills the opening of the cabinet perfectly but simply has rectangle shape cut into the middle of it to fit as many types of sewing machines as possible, not all.
  
• Mounting bolts for Kenmore, Janome, and Singer machines.
  
• The rectangle inside the insert is 17"wide by 7-1/4" deep. Sewing machines larger than those 2 dimensions will not fit in the universal insert. Since the universal insert is just a rectangle, some machines will still have gaps in the back.
